The advice in Incorporating Photographs in Your Multimedia Presentations targets the private sector as its primary client (add images of your product or company’s location…); however, the content in this article can be expanded to include ed. services and/or an ed. institutions. The author recommends the use of photographs sparingly for great visual impact. Several brand names were recommended for quality scanning including: Epson, Microtek, Hewlett-Packard, and UMAX. Editing software like Adobe PhotoShop, Corel PhotoPaint, or Insent Sytems Hijaak can be purchased to scan images as well. The author also recommended the hiring of a professional photographer to capture the "just-right image." Don’t forget neutral or dark background as your backdrop!
I’m loving learning how to use the basic features of Photo Elements in class. I've had the program on my computer for several months and am excited to finally access the tools this program has to offer. For now, I’ll leave the art of photography to the professionals.

Don't forget though that the software can do a lot to make your photos look professional...and artistic. :)
